AVO is not a brand of cigars I think about all that often. However, they’ve been around a long time, and they’re one of those legacy brands that has a rich history in cigars. That is until 2019, when they deceptively released their AVO Unexpected series of cigars. Fast forward 5 years, and we have today’s cigar, the AVO Expressions LE 2024.
Initial Thoughts
According to HalfWheel, The AVO Expressions LE 2024 is a collaboration between the AVO parent brand, Davidoff, and the hip-hop DJ D-Nice. Only 6900 boxes of this limited edition cigar were made, so you’ll want to either buy a box or try to get one in the Adventure Club.
Once I cut through the pigtail end, the draw was perfect. Upon toasting the foot, the first aromas of the smoke were quite delicious.
Through the first several minutes, the flavors were sweet and toasty and delicious. The draw was fantastic. This AVO Expressions gave a wonderful first impression. Will it last? Let’s find out.

Final Thoughts
I got to enjoy the AVO Expressions LE 2024 for an hour and a half, and it was delicious. The draw was great. The smoke output was plentiful. Everything about this cigar is absolutely fantastic except for the price point. At almost $20, it’s a little expensive, and almost twice as expensive as the AVO Unexpected series was just 5 years ago.
I had a wonderful time smoking this cigar. Other than it being a little expensive, I enjoyed every minute. Buy this cigar and smoke it while you can. The AVO Expressions LE 2024 earns a CigarScore 5.
