    Initial Thoughts:
I knew Don Pepin was behind My Father cigars, so I grabbed the Don Pepin Garcia Blue Original with anticipation.

This dark cigar is full-bodied and has a slight hint of the flavor notes of the My Father Cigars I’ve scored so highly. While the cigar is burning well and the draw is perfect, the bold flavors aren’t as delicious as, say, the My Father Centurion. That said, the aroma of the Don Pepin Garcia Original is on point!

    CigarScore 3
    Brand: My Father
    Line: Don Pepin Garcia Blue
    Size: 5 x 50
    Cut: Punch

    Wrapper: Nicaraguan Corojo
    Binder: Nicaragua
    Filler: Nicaragua

    Final Thoughts:
The Don Pepin Garcia Original is a decent cigar. If you want some of the flavors of the My Father line, but want a lower price point, give this cigar a try. I didn’t love it and I don’t think it quite belongs in the My Father line, and for those reasons, I give this a CigarScore of 3.
