    Initial Thoughts:
I love getting cigar recommendations from viewers and CigarScore users (so make sure you tell me what you’d like me to review). So, when I saw someone talking about the Drew Estate Nica Rustica El Brujito, I just knew I had to smoke mine.

This cigar has a very rustic look to it. The United States Connecticut Broadleaf is dark and very textured and shines with oils from the cigar. The initial flavors are good but unrefined. The Nica Rustica has started good, but it seems young.

About halfway through the cigar, I started to hear popping sounds coming from the wrapper. I checked the humidity and temperature in my humidor via the Boveda Butler, and while the humidity was low, the temperature was a little high. While these conditions could’ve caused the tears in the wrapper as the cigar heated up, I can’t confirm.

Midway through the cigar, the flavors are bold, the draw is perfect, and the flavors are rustic and unrefined.

    Final Thoughts:
The flavors of the Drew Estate Nica Rustica El Brujito were good. The draw was great. The burn was mostly even. And, the price point is right to make this cigar one to keep in your humidor. Because I’d smoke this cigar again, the Nica Rustica earns a CigarScore 4.
