    Initial Thoughts:
It’s not often that I get to smoke every blend in a line of cigars. However, in today’s case, I’ve already smoked and reviewed both the Liga Undercrown Maduro and the Liga Undercrown Shade. So, when I was able to get my hands on the Drew Estate Liga Undercrown Sungrown, I knew I had to review it as well.

After punching the end of the Undercrown Sungrown, the cold draw flavors were of wheat, grass, and perhaps, cinnamon. Once the cigar was lit, the initial flavors were of pistachio, lots of spice, and maybe a buttery taste that was quite unexpected.

Though there were some construction issues with the Undercrown’s Ecuadorian Sumatra Sungrown wrapper, the draw was perfect. Despite a few cracks in the wrapper leaf, the overall construction of the Undercrown Sungrown was pretty good.

In the middle third of the cigar, the flavors were very spicy with hints of leather, and some occasional creaminess (probably from the Nicaraguan filler) that added some complexity and was quite nice.

    Final Thoughts
Overall, the Drew Estate Liga Undercrown Sungrown is a pretty good cigar. While it was not without its issues, I mostly enjoyed the experience.

I did have to touch up an uneven burn, and the cracks in the wrapper were incredibly annoying, though these issues didn’t really have a negative impact on the draw. But, I did enjoy the flavors.

Because I’d smoke this cigar again, and I enjoyed my time with the cigar, the Drew Estate Liga Undercrown Sungrown earns a CigarScore 4.
