Initial Thoughts
It’s not often that we get to review every blend in a line of cigars. While today we’re diving into the Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano, I also recommend you check out our reviews of the Knuckle Sandwich Maduro, which took a few minutes before it became delicious, and the Knuckle Sandwich Connecticut, a good cigar that surprised me because it wasn’t a perfect companion to my morning coffee, to see how they compare.
The Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano is the third and final cigar of the series we’ve reviewed. It starts with a very leafy aroma before lighting it, and the wrapper has a touch of oiliness to it. Once cut, the KS Habano had cold draw flavors of wood. Once lit, the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper gave of flavors that were of leather, cinnamon, with hints of something really smooth in the background.
How does the Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano stack up against the Maduro and Connecticut? And, is it worth almost $14? Let’s find out!

Final Thoughts
I was able to smoke the the Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano Robusto J for right at 74 minutes, and for the most part I enjoyed it. The flavors were good, though not overly complex. The leather and spice combination provided by the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper remained constant through the entire smoke.
NOTE: Since recording the video, the price of this cigar has increased by over 15%, but I would not change the CigarScore.
Regarding the construction, as shown in the video, there were a couple of burn issues due to moisture in one of the wrapper stems. Compared to the other cigars in the Knuckle Sandwich line, I think the Habano is the weak link.
Because of the construction issues and relatively one-dimensional, un-complex flavors, the Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano earns a CigarScore 4.
