Initial Thoughts
The Knuckle Sandwich cigars are a collaboration between famous chef Guy Fieri and Eric Espinosa of Espinosa cigars. Fieri, a huge fan of cigars, and Espinosa blended the Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Maduro and the Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano, and today we’re going to go mouth first into the rich Maduro.
The Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Maduro is a great-looking cigar. While an Ecuadorian Sumatra isn’t all that common (though it’s one of my favorites), this cigar uses an even rarer, further fermented, maduro version of this sweet leaf.
On the cold draw, the flavors were of sawdust, but the resistance was about perfect. On the retrohale, the smoke was quite spicy and tingled my sinuses. Although it’d been over 2 hours since brushing my teeth, my palate needed time to adjust. Keep scrolling for the flavor notes on this cigar.

Through the middle of the cigar, I enjoyed it very much. The Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Maduro maintained great construction, and the flavors were rich, spicy, and a little bit sweet.
Final Thoughts
I was able to smoke the Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Maduro Corona Gorda for right at an hour.
This cigar was pretty good. I enjoyed almost everything about it. In the final third, the spice ramped up and it wasn’t quite as smooth.
I enjoyed this cigar quite a bit. The draw was great and the flavors were really delicious. The Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Maduro Corona Gorda earns a CigarScore 5.
