The Aksum Maduro by Foundation Cigar Company was born of history. The Aksumite Kingdom was an ancient civilization located in present-day Ethiopia. According to local legend, the Ark of the Covenant was brought to Aksum by Menelik the First, the son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. To this day, one priest guards the Ark his whole life, day and night.
Drawing inspiration from the historic Aksumite Kingdom, this new line showcases a marriage of flavors and artisanal expertise, reflecting Foundation’s dedication to exceptional quality and commitment to honoring the legacy of this revered civilization.
