Initial Thoughts: If you’ve been following CigarScore TV for any amount of time, you know I’m a fan of Fratello Cigars. So, when I had the opportunity to smoke the original cigar made by Omar de Frias, I jumped at the chance.
The Fratello Fratello has a dark and rich-looking wrapper. With this blend of tobaccos – a combination of Nicaraguan, Peruvian, and Ecuadorian leaves – I expect this cigar to be medium to full-bodied with a fair amount of complexity and hints of spice.

Final Thoughts:
After enjoying this cigar, I can see how and why the Fratello Classico launched a successful brand for Omar de Frias. This cigar is delicious. It’s complex. It’s bold and spicey.
However, if you don’t like peppery cigars, you probably won’t enjoy this one. But, with that said, the price is right for trying and sampling, even if you’re not sure you’d love it because there was a sweetness to the second half of the cigar that was very nice.
There are so many things about this cigar that I really liked and I can’t wait to smoke another one. For these reasons and because I’d recommend this stick to you, the Fratello Classico earns a CigarScore 5.
