    Initial Thoughts:
Today’s cigar took quite the journey to get to me. From Miami to Albuquerque and back again, the Hooten Young Overlord Churchill finally found its way into my humidor in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you ever needed a good reason to upgrade your humidor, here you go.

The Overlord Churchill, once liberated from the cellophane, has the aroma of wheat and grass, and it’s almost sweet.

After cutting the end with my Colibri V-Cutter, the draw was perfect and the Overlord offered up flavors of sweet citrus, like a perfectly ripe mango. Through the first third the construction was impeccable and the flavors were mild and sweet. My first impressions are very good, and the Hooten Young Overlord Churchill is off to a fantastic start.

    Final Thoughts:

My main and only real complaint about the Hooten Young Overlord Churchill is that I was only able to enjoy it for about 75 minutes. And, for $18, I wish I’d had more time with it.

However, the Overlord’s construction was perfect. The draw was perfect. And the burn was almost perfect. By all measures, the Hooten Young Overlord Churchill earns a CigarScore of 5.
