Initial Thoughts:
Back at the end of 2018, when I first started building CigarScore.com while in Minnesota, today’s cigar was one I’d smoke often. The Perdomo Lot 23 Natural Toro was one of the least expensive cigars, and it was one I’d enjoy while working on the website.
On the cold draw, I tasted lots of cedar. Through the first few minutes, everything went well.
CigarScore: 5
Brand: Perdomo
Line: Lot 23 / Natural
Size: 6 x 50
Cut: Guillotine
Light: Torch
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Sungrown
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Smoke Time: 60 minutes
Through the middle of the Perdomo Lot 23 Natural Toro, there were hints of sweetness I really enjoyed plus leather and spice. Also, the construction remained great and we had a good draw and an even burn.
Final Thoughts:
After smoking the Perdomo Lot 23 Natural Toro for a short 60 minutes, it was pretty good.
The flavors were good, but there was some sponginess behind the label that caused me some concern.
When I went into this review, I wanted to check in on the cigar that helped me build CigarScore.com. I also wanted to see if this cigar would be good enough to recommend and purchase myself. And, at the end of the day, I have to say that it is. The Perdomo Lot 23 Natural Toro earns a CigarScore 5.
