    Initial Thoughts:
This odd little cigar was recommended by one of the sales reps at 2 Guys Smoke Shop in Salem, New Hampshire. I’ve never had or even heard of RoMa Craft, and this short, flat-headed cigar is pretty unique.

One thing I noticed when lighting the RoMa Craft Neanderthal was that the wrapper was pretty dry – after smoking for about 8 minutes, the wrapper cracked near the smoking end. However, despite the cracked wrapper, the RoMa Craft Neanderthal seems fairly well made, even if it is a little dry. The burn for the first half-inch is very even and the draw is smooth.

    Final Thoughts:
This bold, tiny cigar is definitely a mouthful. I never struggled to get plenty of smoke on every draw. But halfway through, the cigar just went out, dead, and I had to relight it.

The Roma Craft Neanderthal is a decent cigar, not great, but the cracking wrapper detracted from the experience. The flat head is unique, but not something that makes the cigar better. A CigarScore 2 for sure because I wouldn’t smoke this particular stick again – maybe a different size or blend, but not this one.
